Charitable Giving:

At VISF, we have ALWAYS believed in the power of giving! We know that we organize an INCREDIBLE soccer festival and cultural celebration, but we also know that is not quite enough to make an impact on our country and the world. That is why , ever since we organized our first soccer festival, we have been doing everything we can to support worthy causes in our local and international community.

In fact, VISF raised significant funding and awareness for worthy causes that are close to our hearts:

  • Youth and children impacted by war. Through Peace it Together Society, we co-funded an international peace camp for youth from Canada, Israel, and Palestine.
  • Youth and children impacted by life-threatening conditions. Through Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC and Yukon, www.makeawishbc.ca we co-funded few wishes to children with life-threatening conditions.

Currently, we are directing our focus and funding towards global peace, and social change through sports. This year, we are raising funds to co-fund a a trip for a mixed Arab and Jewish soccer team to play at the 2010 VISF CO-ED DIVISION. We hope to count on your support to make this dream a reality.

Pending funding, proceeds from this year's tournament will co-fund a trip for a mix of male, female, Arab, Jewish, and Canadian soccer players from Israel, Palestine, and Canada to play at 2010 VISF co-ed division under the banner WORLD PEACE TEAM.
